Instance is back online after about 14hrs offline, had some sun this morning so battery did get charged a bit.

During the I have installed a simple led strip to make it a bit easier to see inside my garage, replaced the wires as they were a bit flimsy, also skipped the external switch as will be controlling them from my main power console.

@becha @wim_v12e really enjoyed this podcast. The 2 things I took away: the power consumption of the network doesn't increase with increased usage and secondly that embodied carbon its really important and yet forgotten.

How does this apply to our instance? by providing a mastodon feed we potentially allow devices to be used for longer. Also as this instance falls offline often, because , it changes our usage of perhaps for the best
