The NES first two Ninja Gaiden games. Everyone focuses on the difficulty, but the soundtracks were pretty great. The original is the first game I remember that had drums that actually kinda sounded like drums. Also the opening scenes were awesome musically and cinematically, at least to 8 year old me.
There's a thread about how people find new books, and one of my favorite ways to find things to read was browsing comments from the weekly 'What are you reading' threads in r/truelit and r/books. So what is Lemmy reading?...
I seem to be having an issue logging in to Beehaw from a browser. I've tried Firefox and Chrome on Android and Windows, and Safari on an ipad. I either get a spinning circle or no change on the login button. I've tried disabling all of my extensions, but it doesn't make a difference....
This isn't while signing up, just logging in with an existing account. I can't remember exactly what happens when registering, but I'm pretty sure I got a page saying that the request needs to be approved and some other instructions.
That might be it, I usually have a default password length in the 70s. I'll try that after work and see what happens
Update: This actually worked. I was able to log in on Firefox by copy/pasting, changed my password to under 60 characters, and now I can log in everywhere without a problem. There's a chance it was a coincidence, since I hadn't tried logging in for a day or so, but it's definitely working now. Thanks for this; I never would have thought of it on my own.
For me it's been communities like /r/buildapc, /r/buildapcforme, /r/buildapcsales, /r/gamedeals, and /r/consoledeals have been useful throughout the years.
I would love to see something like r/AskHistorians. It's my favorite sub by far, and something I have really seen anywhere else. It's heavily moderated (in a good way), and the answers are all high quality and sourced. It's pretty much why I held on to my reddit account as long as I have.

What are your favourite classic game soundtracks?
I love both the MT-32 and CMS versions of Ultima VI's soundtrack, particularly Todd Porter's contributions....

What are some communities that aren't here yet that you hope to see in the future?
