My mouse pointer just started randomly disappearing and jumping around. And after uninstalling Logi Options+, it seems to have started working normally :/

I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue (I doubt it) or a software issue. Given I didn't notice this behavior in safe mode. But it also doesn't seem to happen until after a while.

I am starting to think that I might need to locate and reinstall the Windows 11 Lenovo OEM image. I don't even know if that's a thing

I'm assuming it is because Lenovo has a recovery USB creator that mentions reinstalling the "factory installed operating system". Which I can only assume means that it reinstalls everything exactly as it came when I recieved the device. This means all the OEM changes, bloatware, etc.

it cant possibly be input lag because I'm noticing all of this happen across both my mouse (it is wireless), and my touchpad (part of my laptop)

Ok so i decided to do a clean install. And now after downloading everything through windows updater. The mouse seems to work fine :)

Oh yeah and Windows decided to turn on Bitlocker by default as well, which would explain why I have way less storage. I guess I have to now decide if I want to actually keep my stuff encrypted.

I can't really think of a good reason not to tbh. My hard drive likely isn't going to be stolen. But I guess it's a good idea anyway

Ubuntu: A flatpacked set of furniture + you hired someone to build it

Gentoo: A bunch of random pieces of wood laying aroud. There's a set of tools to the right

Linux from Scratch. Same as Gentoo. But you also make the tools yourself
