Peggy and Abhik talk about the process with two cycles and revisions. While I appreciate trying to improve the reviewing, it still feels like an incomplete imitation of journal reviews. I vote for following other fields in CS and move fully to journal-first presentations.

The ICSE main conference had just started. It contains many co-located events, which is somewhat exhausting but I value the reduction in the need to travel (and thereby reduced plane trips). #icse2024 @icseconf @seresearchers
