I've mentioned the French version before - Valentina Antoniol, Foucault et la guerre: À partir de Schmitt, contre Schmitt, Éditions Mimesis, November 2023
@alcinoe@geography@politicaltheory Thanks for this. It is acknowledged in the book - taken by the Brazilian photographer Tuca Vieira in 2004 (see Preface, p. vi).
"Danger, Crime and Rights: A Conversation between Michel Foucault and Jonathan Simon" was published in Theory, Culture & Society in 2017. The transcription was edited and introduced by me with an afterword by Jonathan Simon.
I was asked to contribute a new preface to the Turkish translation. The English text of the preface is not available elsewhere, so with permission I'm sharing it here.
The texts have recently been translated into Turkish as a short book - Tehlike, Suç ve Haklar, 2023: Michel Foucault ile Jonathan Simon’ın Söyleşisi, trans. Utku Özmakas, Ayrıntı Yayınları, October 2023.
After weeks of limited information, the British Library blog has been updated with a much more detailed statement from the chief executive. A phased return of some more services is due in the New Year.
Any help appreciated: looking for a copy of Ferdinand de Saussure, Note sulle leggende germaniche, published in 1972. As far as I can tell, just 21 pages, and despite the Italian title, the text is in French. Anyone have a scanned copy they could share?
Worldcat suggests no copies in UK or France, a few in Germany, one in Italy and one in the US. No copies I can find for sale online, or as a pdf. Not to be confused with Saussure, Le Leggende germaniche, a much bigger book. Any ideas?
@CerstinMahlow thanks for this. I use the inter library loan service a lot. They are good, but books from outside the UK are more challenging. Despite its short length I think this counts as a book. I hope to have a scan of the Berlin copy soon, but if not then I will try this Bern one. Thanks again.
Philipp Felsch's book Wie Nietzsche aus der Kälte kam [How Nietzsche came in from the cold] was mentioned at the workshop on translation and the archive yesterday … It's a study of the two Italian editors and translators of Nietzsche, Colli and Montinari.
