I guess an inactive account purge in an instance somewhere (probably mastodon.social) is finally working against my follower count over on the main SG account.

It seems like the follows per day I need to counteract that purge is gonna be unlikely to reach until another major Twitter exodus occurs.

Black day of my 43-year-old life and at the same time a request for an explanation?! How can a person who does not smoke, lives in a clean environment and regularly spends time in nature in the saddle of his horse be diagnosed with lung cancer??? Damn why and how?!! I hate this shit called cancer... 😭
Does anyone have a similar experience? Please help, I'm in this case for the first time and... and I don't know how to deal with it towards my family and what to do next. I'm scared... 😵‍💫

@Sexicius do the treatment. it'll get rough at times but it's worth it. I'm almost 50 now and been in a coma twice, have kidney problems and a severe haertcondition but I have a wife that loves me and , if all goes well, I 'll become a dad withing the next year. those are the things that kept , and keep, me going. If you need to talk just hmu. to vent,to talk,to whatever. you're not alone in this. there are others. keep your spirit up. you'll be ok again.

@Sexicius at 37 I was also diagnosed with cancer. my wife (not married then) were only together for about a year. I was alone at the hospital when the docs told me the news. I really thought I was going to loose her. turns out she, and all of her family, were there for me. my own family was not. I had an agressive chemo therapy and was sick most of the time. but what I remember most is the fact that you get to know who is behind you and who is not. just be honest with everybody and go for it.1/2
