in BG3, realized you can teleport to the waypoint things any time 🤦‍♂️ i thought you could only go from portal to portal, not anywhere to portal. wasted so much time trying to find a way out of the dungeon that has like 200 goblins waiting outside the physical exit.

Watching the Apple Vision Pro reactions, I feel like the product might have been more compelling if it were designed as a luxury display. Like, plug it into a computer or phone, then surround yourself with virtual screens. Let go of the fancy input, avatar chat, dinosaurs, camera capture, etc. for v1.

Update on this, I got Windows 11 working. It's slightly better, and there are things I appreciate about Windows, but I can't over its basic weirdness and rough edges... the blurry icons from the early 90s, the "Start Earning" thing in settings??? It feels like wandering around a CompUSA that was abandoned in 1996 then hastily renovated for a pop-up experience.

Small but daily frustration = bad word wraps on web and mobile, like a single word awkwardly dangling. Knuth & Plass found a good solution in 1981 that works well in LaTeX.
