Scatterbrained and friendly optimist. Always happy to give my (unasked for) opinion :)

Pardon my rambling and broken English, I know I often sound like an alien trying to impersonate a human being.

Pretty! I love the colors.
Did you manage to get them done before easter?

thelsim,
@thelsim@sh.itjust.works avatar

It most definitely is! And these eggs will stay fresh until next year :)

That’s one cute little robot :) I so much wanted to do a lego one as well but decided to go for a different style.

Midjourney Prompt: Comic panel of a cute victorian era robot, in colorful explorer clothes and wearing a monocle and pith helmet, on safari in the savanna, pointing off-screen and shouting “Onwards!” In a speech bubble --ar 4:3

Edit: You might want to include your robot as the post image. It’s too cute to hide it in the post text :)

Clearly that’s for gaining the high ground 🙄

You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :)

That’s a gorgeous house, I love the gardens and the pond. It has a very magical quality to it.

thelsim,
@thelsim@sh.itjust.works avatar

Wow, that’s a lot of cars. Is it a multi-generational home?
The wood construction is very nice, and the view looks great.

thelsim,
@thelsim@sh.itjust.works avatar

Oh they shouldn’t have gone through all that trouble, I’m very very impressionable :)

thelsim,

It’s big enough to share!

thelsim,

Even better, there’s a cable cart at the back of the house. I’d have shown it, but then you wouldn’t be able to see the awesome slide.

I’ve made so many nice houses over the past few days, but this is one of my most favorite.

Congratulations! You won! I love the concept and the view is absolutely amazing.

It’s your turn to think of the next challenge.

You’ve got a very unique house, I love the reflections and the support tree. It almost looks like it landed there :)

You got a shared 3rd place with trollivier!

It’s a great concept! Seeing the ships sail underneath your house would be nice to see. I hope it comes with an elevator though :)

Congratulations, you made third place together with Cloudless!
It’s a really cozy little cabin, and the view is breathtaking.

That’s the most relatable house in the challenge, I’d give it an extra point if we had a prize for it :)

This looks vaguely familiar :)
I don’t really mind though, it was a one-off prompt and it’s nice to see someone else run with it.

“Cheese hand” they say! 😭
First the mozzarella joke and now this. All the intended mystique and other worldly vibes, gone.
All I can see now is Cheese Hand :(

Granted, it is hard to unsee once you start thinking of cheese :)

Anyway, there has been a problem syncing with Lemmyworld. Apparently a bunch of updates are just lost. I already unpinned/pinned the posts again. So they should be properly pinned for everyone. But do let me know if something is still wrong.

Oh my god, I’m so sorry!
I just copied the last list without checking if everything was in order. And I really loved that challenge too, I should have paid better attention.

Your challenge is back on the list, where it belongs. I’ll see if I can get the numbers to run properly again as well.
Thanks for letting me know!

The rules are one per challenge. A new challenge starts every week. So yes, one each week.
There’s one (official) challenge each week (pinned at the top of this community) and anyone can participate. The winner gets to choose the next challenge.
Sometimes someone likes to start a mini-challenge, these usually have a title like “Show me your best: <topic>”. There are no scores or winners in those mini-challenges, besides the fact that everyone is a winner for participating :)

Oof, I wouldn’t know about that. I was purely talking from personal experience. I don’t have a good picture of the job market in total, let alone in whichever country you live. If you want to get into the data-related IT fields (data analist, data engineer, business intelligence specialist, etc.) then SQL and data modeling skills are a must-have. But it’s just a small part of a much bigger discipline.

If possible, find some professional career counseling. Someone with better knowledge of the job market where you live might give you some good advice on which steps to take first.
