Hey @buffer my Bufferchat question - once you support Threads, could you consider a feature where users who authenticate with you on both — an automatic crossposting of posts from our Federated threads account to another separate Mastodon account?

The main issue I see right now with Threads fediverse sharing is that it is not two way. In particular, you can't see replies and likes in threads as they happen in Mastodon (where nearly all fediverse sharing occurs). Something tells me that that level of sharing likely really ups the complexity of the integration. However, if they could just get two-way from threads and back again to work, it would be a giant step.

The Fediverse is not mentioned once here by @jackconte - but every problem he accurately names for creators and their followers is answered by what things the Fediverse offers.

It cements my idea that either @patreon itself should adopt ActivityPub, or someone should invite a Fediverse-native alternative to Patreon & it is why @threads supporting the Fediverse is so important for creators.

Putting all of my federated Threads accounts into a Mastodon list. And just like that, one of the benefits of Threads supporting the Fediverse is happening in real-time.

I now can view them all in one Mastodon list view TODAY, or add them to multiple lists TODAY, even while lists are a feature not yet here on Threads.

Fediverse Threads support for the win.
