So I've been interviewing with two companies, one of which ghosted me for 3 weeks after a screening call

I kept joking that I’d probably receive an offer from company A before I’d received any reply from company B

… but I didn't think I would be this prescient

(B rejected me, but I don't care now :p)

@TechConnectify I watched the video early yesterday and lost power in the evening. My poor, old, landlord special fridge didn't stand a chance. The fridge was at 50°F within four hours, and the freezer didn't fare much better, reaching 38°F overnight (and probably much sooner than that).

It sure is some coincidence to lose all my food due to a crappy fridge the same day as I listened to you talk about safe temperature zones and bad fridge design.

@TechConnectify I know you have strong opinions on turn signals, so I wondered what you'd think of this car I came across today. The brake light becomes an amber turn signal. It does briefly become a brake light again in the video, but I think the turn signal just got bumped off.

@TechConnectify I did, hello! It was kind of inevitable, though. All the fun, technical people have already migrated over here. I was holding out because "social media bad" and I wasn't sure I wanted a new, different Twitter to sink time into. But now I can still be hip and cool.

I agree with you on being annoyed that the brake light is missing. I find myself liking the novelty of it though, at least until I find a way that it confuses me.

@tubetime when I was in college I would SSH into my roommate's Mac and use the "say" command to announce the wrong time and that programs that weren't running needed attention. I lost my access after that but it was worth it :)
