tusker,

SimpleX has an appimage package, works on all distro’s.

tusker,

I think the many competing messengers are a good thing. Makes it a lot harder for glowies to spy and gather data.

Simplex is not bad, encrypted and proxies through tor easily if you already have tor running.

tusker, (edited )

This is the direction it need to go. When there is a sadistic terrorist mafia bent on world domination through finance they will attack anyone who threatens their power monopoly.

It should be Tor and I2P only and designed not to leak anything into the clearnet. It would be nice if you could federate the instances to have a unified order-book (I hope that is how it works already).

I wonder if the bankster criminals running the state took all those abusive and illegal actions lately to derail the release of Haveno because they know if we have a proper and popular DEX it will take away a big portion of their power.

tusker,

It definitely will need the network selection function built into the UI. Modifying source code and recompiling just to change the network is a non-starter for 99.9% of users.

Bitcoin cash adopts Dynamic Block Size

It seems that Monero’s Dynamic Block Size technology ( localmonero.co/knowledge/dynamic-block-size ). It’s called Adjustable Blocksize Limit Algorithm ( odysee.com/…/ABLA_Explainer:2 ) and works on a slightly different algorithm, but it’s the same essential technology. The reason it’s good news is that it shows that...

tusker,

This is great, I hope they add confidential transactions and stealth addresses as well. We need as many big and popular privacy currencies as possible!

tusker,

It makes the privacy coin ecosystem more decentralized and unstoppable. If we have a DEX where they can all be easily swapped instantly then they become interchangeable.

If we have a whole bunch of private coins with roughly the same amount of users each then attacking one or two of them makes no sense because people will just hop over to another one.

tusker,

Is there a Tor and/or I2P gateway to the forum?

tusker,

Funny how they just assume to have the authority to force dictates on the world. It’s all just an “act”.

tusker,

When you have a large and violent mafia that controls the world’s main currency the dictates they set will affect most of the world.

tusker,

A bounty may be appropriate for this to get someone interested to put in the time and effort.

tusker,

Looks like the financial mafia is gunning hard for XMR. I wonder why they are so scared of a tiny little decentralized currency? Do they have something planned in the future that XMR may thwart?

tusker,

Did not see that coming. Wish they would stick around until the DEX’s are fully mature.

tusker,

I really hope they publish the source so someone can open up a similar service on tor and i2p.

tusker,

Time to stock up on mining hardware and 5x my current mining operation 😁

PS. The US military burns billions of gallons of fuel per month and they murder people, I think we should stop worrying about proof-of-work and focus on real threats to the world at large.

tusker,

Nothing is burning. There is a parasitical class that has hijacked the currency and is conducting large scale evil operations because they can manufacture what most believe to be money.

Monero is here to replace their fraudulent system.

tusker,

These clowns do not know what crypto is, they are puppets put in place to protect the banker monopoly.

tusker,

They don’t care because they are paid off by banksters to keep bitcoin useless as money.

tusker,

I2P has been under ddos for a few weeks, this is most likely why the nodes disappeared.

“The I2P network is currently under a Denial-of-Service attack. This attack affects I2P and i2pd but in different ways and is having a serious effect on network health. Reachability of I2P sites is badly degraded.”

tusker,

It has improved lately since they released a new version a couple weeks ago.

I think monero.fail removed the I2P nodes from the list because they timed out during the height of the dos.

tusker,

The ruling elites are absolutely terrified of crypto being used by the people to circumvent their criminal systems.

They know they cannot launch murderous wars once they lose their fraudulent monopoly on finance.

They always go after prominent individuals that represent the overall threat, this is an easy intimidation tactic. It will not work, we know what they are doing.

tusker,

All crypto should be converted to Monero before you attempt to spend it anywhere. Never send any other coins as payment for anything that can in any way be associated with you. This should be common knowledge by now for anyone using crypto.

Monero is the safety bridge between crypto and the real world.

tusker,

What I mean is that I would not want to spend a transparent chain coin from my own wallet because any further activity from that wallet is linked to you.
I would rather convert it to Monero then convert it to another coin and spend it right from that conversion.

tusker,

So now they are pushing some new centralized mess that will take a decade to complete and have the same result as LN.

Or they can just increase the block size with about 10 minutes of effort, which should have been done 10 years ago. BTC has failed and continues to fail.

They have become experts at stalling progress to clear the way for CBDC’s.

tusker,

I am very glad the “law” makers are so concerned about privacy.
