@moth_ball @sun i have and i will say that the only seasons that was "run to the ground" are the ones that were made by Chris Chibnail as the showrunner (seasons 11 to 13), the other showrunners (Russell T Davies, Steven Moffat) ran the show quite well for my taste. Then again, I have not watched the latest one, but I have heard it's good from someone I consider to have tastes similar to mine in this regard. The late Steven Moffat / Capaldi era wasn't as great but it was far from the worst.
