I ride a lot in my city and thunderstorms can happen several times a week where I live during certain parts of the year. Usually I can plan around them and if it’s really so stormy I don’t think I can bike then it’s usually better if I don’t drive anywhere either.
The main one that gets me is when I pick up my kid from school. Just rain and I’ll bike but if there’s lightning I occasionally need to take the car for safety.
Unfortunately they’re probably real people. Most of Lemmy was full of tankies before the reddit migration so any post involving China or Russia brings them out in force.

I want one. It’s a lot easier for me to start up a gaming session on the couch with a handheld without much fuss than on my computer at my desk. There are a lot of games I’d play more this way.
I can’t go back to working in an office full time anymore. It would be a really difficult adjustment especially losing the time to commuting and needing to deal with child care. Yeah just do what’s fun. I find 100% games to be frustrating but a lot of the fun of Mario Odyssey was just casually playing around and trying to get lots of moons. When I got tired of that I just…stopped.
The pricing definitely seems steep to me for an ad free version of a phone app. I’m also holding our for boost although Sync seems like a pretty solid alternative for the moment. I haven’t been fully satisfied with many of the other apps except maybe Voyager
