Goddam that man is a piece of shit, a deliberately detestable person. Seems that to be a Trump/MAGA wannabe, all you need to do is be as big a shitheel to vulnerable and minority people as much you can and use the hatred you generate to surf your way to victory at the polls.
The only thing worse than a MAGA is a NAZI, but it’s goddam hard to tell the difference.
What bothers me most is all the millions of ‘reasonable’ Republicans that are going along with it and they know it’s wrong. Seems the old adage is correct, if you find 10 people sitting comfortably at a table with a Nazi, you have 11 Nazis.
I bought the Shelly flood sensor, have got it all setup on the network okay, but now all that is done I’m lost as to what I can get it to do to actually tell me that there is a flood? Will the app just automatically notify me? Or is there some special URL trickery or otherwise I need to do to notify me?
Edit - update, lol so I touched the legs and accidentally set it off and yep - it sent me a message! Sorry for the false alarm that answers my question (the alert even popped up on my Apple Watch which was cool).
Now I’m wondering if there are ways I can ‘manually’ set up for some of my other Shelly devices to send similar messages, like if a certain temperature is reached on my Shelly Thermostat?, can I define a URL or something to send out a message in the same way? Any tricks of tips anyone can share appreciated.
