Updated. Not confirmed yet but yeah. If hes indeed injured he really needs to retire at this point. His body is clearly not good to go anymore and lbr it's not like he's gonna roid up to help heal or anything lmao.

In terms of WWE (which I assume you're referring to) Nothing 'official' happened really. They just deemphasized it over time (I haven't paid attention to if/when they got rid of it, or stopped mentioning it or what). Probably once schedules got to the point where said rule became ever-so-slight inconvenience to the booking they decided to just not mention it.

Not sure what other companies even acknowledge it as a rule tbh.

Iirc it was the impetus for Reigns going to Vince/HHH and telling em to stop fucking around and book him in worthwhile storylines.
