Got this email today with a pretty early pre-order as well. Pretty disappointing that it arrived so late. We're actually moving soon so a 4 week delay (with a possibility of further delays) is pretty inconvenient. I understand that there's been a huge demand for this game and they've been swamped with things to do but was really looking forward to having it :(
I start from the top down, get to almost the bottom only to notice it's uneven, and let out a heavy sigh as I have to undo all the buttons before resorting to matching the bottom hems and rebuttoning from the bottom up.
As someone who naturally freezes when they are put on the spot, what I've found really helpful is to think of the questions they're going to ask, write or type up my answers, and practice sitting and answering the questions out loud a ton of times for each question.
The repetition helps because the first few times are going to be super awkward and it helps to get that out of the way. Then as you get more comfortable you start noticing where you might stumble over something that sounds great written but is harder for you to articulate in real life if you aren't used to speaking that way. Practice changing the words around or using words that feel more natural to you.
By the time the interview happens I remind myself that it's definitely normal and expected to be nervous during an interview (who actually enjoys them?) so just roll with it if it shows. And if I don't get the job, this interview will at the very least be great practice for the next one!
I squeeze from the top or middle because that's where I grab it from but I have a plastic toothpaste roller that flattens and pushes it up from the bottom that I adjust as I go. It's truly the best of all worlds
Yeah! I have the extra fine gold nib and it writes surprisingly well on just about anything. And the click is so satisfying! Definitely recommend trying one out in a store if you get the chance.
I use the Pilot VP more because I carry it with me everywhere but I haven't found anything as comfortable as the Lamy Nexx. The big squishy triangular grip is the best!
