I have an old Subnotebook (at least 10 years old I think) which runs Windows 7 atm. I would like to run Linux on it. I‘m a Linux noob, but would like to try and learn a few things. Any recommendations?
Don't fall for it. All the research he conducted was done under supervision of a bailiff, wich in France is a guarantee that all was done respecting the law. He enforced this uncommon way of doing because he knew the government had issues with him taking other directions than that of vaccination. The reason he is now constantly under attack is because many associations who went on trial against european governments and europe itself are using his works to prove their point. Should the government manage to discredit the man all those trials would fall to nothing.
So, the thing is that internet gives you a freedom to select what you actually want to see. But most consumers have inherited television and radio habits, and consume the internet in the same way. That beeing going on the most known media platforms and just beeing fed what the algorithmes send. These platforms live out of monetisation, and the toolbox to achieve that has grown with time. Bots beeing part of it. If you feel like you are confronted with too much bots, reposts and click-bait, question your consumer habits. The algorithms job is to guess what you want, they feed on your habits. Change your habits to change your experience of the web.
So,... to pass your D-test... :D... Laxative in recommended doses, liver and kidney purifier as Uroperine (again, recommended doses), and gallons of water ;-)
Big tech has no problem with decentra, the one doing client monetization are on that fight. Some of them are big tech but that does not make the whole of bt accomplice of the fight.
@arisunz Agreed 100%. That is why i am so happy PHP decided to enforce types and is going stricter with times. I also find that keeping the loose typing available gives an extra "special" to the language as it allows for manipulations not possible in purely strict languages.
Which lightweight Linux Distribution with GUI would you recommend for an old Laptop ?
