This is my exact situation. 10+ year old account. Once Apollo announced its shutdown I went ahead and downloaded redact and scrambled previous comments. Spent a few days searching through different socials and landed on kbin. I check it less frequently for sure. But I’ve gotten a lot of time back.
Same. Had my account for 10 years. I used Redact to delete all of my account history. Delete the official app form my phone. I’m keeping Apollo just for memories sake. But not planning to go back.

A lot subreddits end their blackout tomorrow. Will you go back to Reddit, or continue with kbin and the Fediverse?
I haven't used Reddit at all since the blackout began. Even if they change course, the Fediverse is growing on me, and I think I'll stay here....
