It should be, but currently people are farming negative reputation (karma) because downvotes generate negative rep but only boosts (which is like retweeting/crossposting to your profile) generate positive rep
Yup, I posted this from Kbin, on a Lemmy instance and afaik Mastodon users (Idk how they call themselves) can also see them and react as long as they all federate. Please correct me if I'm wrong ^-^

Aber aus mir unbekannten Gründen können Kbin Nutzer*Innen auf Lemmy und Feddit Inhalte zugreifen, umgekehrt können Lemminge (zumindest ich von meinem Lemmy Konto) nicht auf Kbin Inhalte zugreifen
