havok,

It won't even be over after the war is over. Russia will have to paint it as a victory if the current regime were to survive a loss, so you will see plenty of this shit aimed at internal consumption years later.

havok,

I'm amazed you didn't get banned and muted from sending further messages. In over 11 years of reddit I got 3 bans, all of which happened this year and all were met with mods who, instead of overturning automod overreach (all were bans because I either posted in the "wrong" sub or used some keywords that triggered a reaction, like "nuclear power" in /r/energy) I got silenced and prevented from further messages for an extended period of time. Powertripping mods have been ruining the site for a while and admins are perfectly fine with it.

havok,

I've always been one to try the "new hotness". When Vista came out, I used it as soon as it was available to me. Same with 7, 8, 8.1, 10. (The TPM bullshit and a need for a stable machine when W11 came out meant I stuck with 10 on my main machine) As soon as the official app was available, I installed it and used it for over a year. I used the new interface for about 2 months before going back. I'm not resistant to change, I in fact actively try to adapt to the new interfaces. But both reddit's mobile app and new website have been so fucking bad, I just couldn't deal with them.

havok,

Nothing on the news aggregator I use for Romania. News mostly covering the end of the teacher's strike and Berlusconi's death so little chance for something like this to be covered anyway. While it has been used by mainstream media to create news with posts leading to small news pieces, it generally isn't known by your average Joe.

havok,

Speaking about assuming things about people, don't assume everyone is an English native. In some other languages there is no gender-neutral equivalent and instead the normal and expected way to address a stranger is by using male pronouns. Reacting aggressively instead of just politely correcting someone is the difference between making someone have a positive or a negative opinion on a given topic.
