A link to a magazine or collection always takes you to /m, instead of e.g. /*, which is where I am currently.
Links from Lists take you to /m, /* or m/.../microblog, depending on where I am currently.
I use it, but when I experimented with data synchronization using Firefox Sync, it simply doesn't work, it is so unreliable and unpredictable that you can't bet on it. It's a real pity, because I wanted to use it for a cool thing, synchronizing data of one website, without having my own server for that website. It failed because Firefox Sync fails.
Chociaż to pewnie halucynacje z ludzietunikogoniema.

I'm delving into controlling the image (displayed on the screen) at the UEFI level and then the operating system level. But I have lots of questions.
There is GOP (UEFI Graphics Output Protocol).
He appears to be controlling the image right from pressing the POWER button on the computer.
At some point, the graphics card driver takes over.
Is that so? Is there something else going on in between?
So the graphics card is in GOP mode, and then in the mode in which the image is controlled by the graphics card driver?
I am interested in the issue of resolution and refresh rate of the image transmitted by the graphics card to the screen.
How does the GOP control this? Image resolution and refresh rate?
When I turn on the monitor's OSD while in UEFI, it shows 2560x1440 60 Hz.
At some point, probably when switching to the operating system, the screen goes blank for a moment and then comes back with the correct resolution and refresh rate set (2560x1440 165 Hz).
Why does this screen blackout have to happen? Why can't it be smooth?
Why can't it be 2560x1440 165 Hz at the UEFI stage?
Anyway, when I set the system to 2560x1440 60 Hz (which is the same as the OSD says for UEFI), the screen goes out the same way.
So what does this mean? What exactly is the mechanism behind this, at the graphics card level?
Why do I need this knowledge? Out of curiosity...
Because in my case the screen goes off for 6 seconds, it seems like such a long time, it's the monitor's fault, it's just like that, and there are many monitors that just have it like that. But it's minimally problematic, and that's why I'm delving deeper into the topic...

Anyone else experience this? I haven’t ever had this problem with Chrome. Live streams on YouTube seem to freeze once an hour or so. Actually YouTube just seems way slower and much more laggy on FireFox. I am using uBlock Origin so maybe that is throttling things, but I’m not sure....
I have it too. The image randomly freezes or the entire playback freezes.
But also regular video (not live) has problems, for example it skips forward a few seconds at random moments.
I don't know if this is something to report on bugzilla. It's hard to report this because I would have to constantly record my screen while watching YouTube to catch the random moment when it happens.
I have uBlock and SponsorBlock. I'm on Arch Linux.
Hiya, what’s your favourite Firefox theme? Personally looking for a new one, as I like tooting around with new themes from time to time. Thought I’d chip in here and ask what theme you have as your main, maybe add a screenshot + link, so that it’s easy for folk to see it 🦊
To że podłokietniki wychodzą od tyłu, a nie od dołu, to mi się podoba wizualnie.
Ma dużo regulacji.
Podnóżek też dobra rzecz.
Zastanawia mnie odchylenie i zagłówek.
Heroes aren’t elected. Why should they determine policy?
I didn't mean politics. Maybe the translator is explaining something wrong. It's about the unwritten rules that most famous superheroes follow, and it's their actions that prove they have these rules.

Superheroes often have a rule that they will not kill even a total criminal, a criminal. What about the topic of... abortion? Is abortion a crime according to superhero rules?
