It’s also not possible to redact things so if you shove it out there, it might be out there forever.

To be honest, is that different with other solutions? I mean if you post something to your whateverAccount, you might be able to redact it... that does not mean that it isn't out there anymore though, just that your profile does not show the old content anymore, right?

So I know some people diss because of the linkage to it. I still think it is a great thing; it is a really cool way to decentralize data with the big providers and allow things to keep being hosted for as long as someone pins the files to their local cache.

Just curious if anyone else is taking advantage of the IPFS network.

@hack13 I am thinking about building a social network on IPFS technology (not directly on IPFS) since 2017. I think this is the future we should go for, but building the actual thing is rather complicated, tbh.
