Kbin.social has been maintained on a VPS for €16.11/month up until now. Currently, I have upgraded it to the highest package to handle as much traffic as possible when the worst comes. It now costs €66.91/month.
These are the statistics with approximately 7000 unique visitors per hour and a fairly intensive usage of the site, including the entire federation. That's all I know for now.

I like board. Communities is too long, and coms sound like communication which armies use, magazines/mags is a bit odd and may be mistaken with the obvious gun reference. Forum is like the pre digg forums (like hardforum.com).
When I was overwriting all my posts with the Power delete suite script, i got many error 503 errors
Btw, as it's written in the fine print, if you delete your reddit account, all your posts and comments aren't deleted and they will keep them forever with no option to delete them anymore
