Call out post for a particular karma farmer on kbin.social

@pollodiabolo - this user is a karma whore of epic proportions and they have made a shit load (10-15+) accounts on kbin that boost and upvote each other while sometimes mass downvoting others that have posts trending towards the top - all to farm karma....

quantum_hampster,

This is already being looked into. Kbin doesn’t have to form validation in place yet, but it’s on the list to prevent spammers.
Essentially it will prevent emails with plus signs and periods in them

quantum_hampster,

You’re correct. I misstated.
Plus signs however are by and large used for aliases.

quantum_hampster,

This is what my head-cannon is as well. Later on during the Dominion war people were already lumping him in with the founders and because he’s a shapeshifter as well. I’d imagine when the founders are shapeshifting to infiltrate the Federation, it would make you hesitant to do so in public.

quantum_hampster, to quickstart

Is there a way to change the display language settings?

quantum_hampster, (edited )

Did you figure this out? It’s pretty unintuitive

EDIT
for anyone else. I was looking at the Lemmy documentation, which says to use an “!” infront of your search term.
You don’t need it. Just search “community@wherever.com” and it’ll show up

quantum_hampster,

Login email address (maybe username as well) is case sensitive.

If the first letter is uppercase, my login fails. Changing it to lowercase corrects the issue and I’m able to log in.
