Any time I try to find any kind of regular movie to go see with family or something, I'm reminded why I got into underground and horror movies. This crap all fucking SUCKS, man. More now than ever before. I mean, DAMN 😂

@wendigo I'm just.. amazed at how little is out there. I guess I always have been. But more and more. An extreme amount now. Where's the classic weird movies like we had in the 70s, 80s, 90s, even 00s? It seems like horror only does that now. Underground stuff, Hulu, Netflix stuff.. I'm not seeing much in theaters. Maybe it's just not summer blockbuster season. I guess Furiosa, still, Godzilla. And I saw Phantom Menace re-release. So little else. Whatever Pixar's limpin to the barn with. 😂

@timixretroplays damn. I mean I've worked corporate jobs in all kinds of offices but have never had to use a default Microsoft browser. I guess there's a thing or two that works better in them. But a requirement.. I can't imagine 😬 I mean Chrome sucks ENOUGH 😂

It’s my birthday and I opened my back door to see this gorgeous hawk hanging out. I see hawks often in the trees around my house, including a nesting pair whose arrival marks springtime for me. But I rarely get such a clear and close view, so I’m very grateful for nature’s gift to me today!

I think this pal is a red-shouldered hawk as I don’t see the RTH belly band, but I would love an ID from someone who knows SoCal birds better 😁

Walled social media apps, if you use em, you gotta just do it for fun. Your account WILL randomly disappear. I've had it happen on literally every walled platform I've ever used. And I don't do weird, nasty or troll stuff. You see how I post here. There's no explaining it other than all walled social media is ethereal. It's all basically useless. But that's okay! You can still use it to mess around. You just have to keep that in mind-- that your account can disappear at any second on the whim of a shitty company.

@antonproitzelhaimer this is a really great point too- to show as little as you can/want - I was thinking about that. I said to "mess around" but really, to put very little of anything of real importance about your real life online for these people to find, especially in ai-world now right haha

@Kitty ha! It's all good. It's happened over a series of years. It's REALLY weird though. Locked out of two, one fully deleted. And I expect the same to eventually happen with my other couple. Same on TikTok. Accounts disappear for no reason. Doesn't even matter how big. I've seen all kinds of businesses complaining about it on both platforms. It's nuts. No reason/recourse often, too.
