Mit 528 erfassten Fällen von gab es in im vergangenen Jahr im Schnitt täglich mehr als einen antisemitischen Vorfall, wie aus dem Jahresbericht der Hessen hervorgeht.

Die meisten Meldungen von Antisemitismus im vergangenen Jahr habe es in (224), (45), und (jeweils 38) gegeben.

"Es gibt zu wenig Empathie und Solidarisierung", kritisierte RIAS-Geschäftsführerin Susanne Urban.

@yaenntz mensch muss das vor allem in Bezug auf die Gesamtanzahl der Jud*innen setzen. Es sind was, 11000 Menschen in den Gemeinden? Selbst wenn nicht alle Mitglied der Gemeinden sind, sind die Zahlen in Relation noch mal erschreckend. Und dann die Dunkelzahlen...

I haven't read this particular novel of hers (but I bought it as a present for my partner and now asked him to bring it to NL so I can do so on our upcoming vacation 😅), but her "Visitation" and "The End of Days" are books I keep recommending. I've also heard the translations are amazing!

(Yes, I'm distracting myself but Erpenbeck is seriously an absolutely stand out writer!)

Have found out today that (not very close) relatives (and their kids - and the kids they took care of at that moment, they run a childcare thing) in Canada have been victims of a hate crime (a while ago, it took a while to reach me), prompting them to give up on the childcare business thing.

I just feel freaking empty.

@sinnundverstand @fedibikes_de Wenn ihr ein bisschen Zeit habt (und die Gegend nicht eh schon kennt), würde ich noch die Dünen zwischen Vlissingen und Zoutelande mitnehmen, weil der Weg sonst gar nicht durch die Dünen führt. Radweg selbst ist solala, weil hinter den Dünen, aber draufsteigen und spazieren gehen ist traumhaft.

Sometimes your cross your life with persons you don’t know. Last Friday I missed my metro by a hair, noticed a person on the platform not feeling well and called an ambulance and provided some assistance. Today :ret_rotterdam: customer care sent me some beautiful flowers 😊

Most of all I hope the person I helped is doing well again 🤞

@WhiteCatTamer yeah, she may not be getting as much brushing as she usually would. I am only coming over every few days for some extra cuddles and quality human time - I'm not sure how much brushing the actual cat-sitter who is coming daily is doing, although the brush definitely got used some ...

Liebe Leute, lasst den Sarkasmus in den Kommentaren, kommt nicht an (außer sehr selten und klar gekennzeichnet als solcher, zB mit "/Sarkasmus" oder ähnlichem - und selbst dann ist es bei manchen Themen absolut nicht angebracht).

Und versucht es nicht, in sozialen Medien, mit Ironie oder Witzen, die irgendwie missverstanden werden können, bei Leuten, die ihr nicht (gegenseitig und am besten lange!) sehr gut kennt.

Harten Lesestoff sollte mensch nicht für dunkle Tage lassen - daher ist heute ein guter Tag für "Terror gegen Juden" von .

Das Buch ist 250 Seiten lang: 140 Seiten Text, 100 Seiten Chronik - eine Auflistung der einzelnen Taten (manche werden zusammengefasst, wie die 36 Friedhofsschändungen '99), Quellen.

Mal gucken, wie lange ich dafür brauche.

Fertig. Also in jeder Hinsicht, mit dem Buch und den Nerven (einiges an beschriebenem selbst oder im nahen Umfeld erlebt - und besser isses nicht geworden, eher das Gegenteil).

Empfehlung? Auf jeden Fall.

Ich hätte zT bessere Quellenangaben gewünscht (wie in "Vor dem Gesetz sind nicht alle gleich", das voller Fußnoten ist), andererseits nennt sich das Buch schon "Eine Anklage", hat also einen anderen Ansatz. Und als solches isses sehr gut.
