This last folder going onto backup drive #4 has been a pain in the ass. As you can see, there are 1.4 million files. The file explorer in Windows likes to fail a lot. I keep having to turn off/on the HD adapter, then restart the transfer. I'll be glad to have this over with. Then I plan on taring those blasted things.
@wagesj45 A modern “tar” format to consider is VHD/VHDX. File Explorer knows how to mount them since mid-Windows 10. (Plus all the other VM tools on every platform.)
