@bkeegan I feel so bad for Jason! He's in a really tough position. But it's also unfortunate that so much of our critical technical (and social and political...) infrastructure is often in the hands of just one person. I wish there was more funding for this! Maybe Pushshift can charge on a sliding scale and PIs can then budget for this in their grants?
@sukrit We wrote an infrastructure grant to scale and professionalize PushShift infrastructure and governance and the ever-helpful reviewers said “where are new algorithms?”
We turned the grant into the ICWSM dataset paper and it looks like the NCRI group came in instead.
