This is a rather chilling mashup of audio and video of a protester being thrown out of a 2016 Trump rally, and a protester being thrown out of the 1939 Nazi Bund rally at Madison Square Garden.
In this video, Fritz Kuhn watches from the podium as Isador Greenbaum is thrown out of the 1939 rally.
Trump also had a protester thrown out of one of his 2016 rallies: "I'd like to punch him in the face, I'll tell ya!"

The speaker was spewing the most vile bigotry, unvarnished. But all these Pro-Nazi idiots were eating crow when Hitler invaded Poland.
History may not be repeating itself exactly but the MAGA Republicans are not far off from acting like this.

@dangillmor The playbook hasn't even changed. They wrap themselves in a veneer of patriotism, and claim that all major problems are caused by immigrants. Entirely too many people were gullible enough to buy into that then, and again now.

@sjtwstot@dangillmor I'm an American but grew up in Germany and speak German fluently. Someone asked me in 2015 if Trump seemed. Hitlerian to me, and I answered, "Unequivocally yes."
