@artcollisions I never did it. But copyshops print on T-Shirts. You could ask them or bring your own fabric and image-file.

Das "Roadmovie" mit Wüstentrip wirkt fast aus der Zeit gefallen und exotisch, obwohl 2022 gedreht. Kaum zu glauben, dass solch ein poetischer, zutiefst menschlicher Film einer schräg-schönen Kulturannäherung in den heutigen Tagen möglich ist. Solange es Menschen gibt, die solche Filme machen, besteht Hoffnung, dass die Welt nicht völlig verroht. Er lässt atmen, erinnert uns, nicht auch zu verrohen. Menschlichkeit ist Zukunft.

@project1enigma In welcher Sprache hast du geschaut? Ich hab zwischendurch mal gewechselt (Deutsch war kurioserweise synchronisiert) u. fand manches ziemlich inkongruent in den Übersetzungen. Was aber dem Film nicht schadete, fiel mir nur auf.

Our brains are geared toward identifying objects & here, “pixels” are grouped to form edges & contours, shapes, & objects. The image is inherently ambiguous so there is no “right” grouping.

Rectangles dominate first for most people - including me, but keep staring & the image may flip to circles.

Sometimes, I contemplate ways that I can use my pottery skills/making to give back to people in need or causes I care about.
I have trouble wrapping my mind around any of the administrative components.
Basically, I'd like to give a piece or two away every month or so to someone whose day it might brighten, but then I start thinking about practicalities like postage costs...
If anyone has ideas or suggestions, please feel free to comment. I may not reply beyond a fave, as I'm not feeling great.

@alchemistsstudio Without postage: Like @helplessduck said, in your town/village, especially for charity auctions.

With postage paid by the recipient: Via social media posts with hashtags like giveaway, freestuff etc (there's a special one for art but I have to search for it).
Or on https://ko-fi.com/ you have the choice to give away art for postage only, as # PayWhatYouWant, or for donators.
You just say to which countries you deliver to and how much the postage costs.

Especially civilians and rescue facilities have to be protected weather someone is hiding there or not.
The killing of terrorists does not justify any mass killings against the rest of the population. Read the text for what is allowed in modern wars.

In war, it cannot be ruled out that civilians will also die, but you cannot bomb a neighbourhood because there are terrorists in the basement somewhere. That's exactly why the ICC collects evidence of violations.

Nicht bei uns im Ort, aber im Departement Moselle, dem Saarland und der Südpfalz gibt's üble Überschwemmungen.
