It's illegal in canada to insult american politicians [in power]. How much of the government is protected from canadian insult is kinda left open but for sure we can't levy the kind of abuse most people think is totally ok with biden/trump.

that said the poem was still illegal. erdogan did sue for "normal" deformation and won (like it went to far for satirical commentation). well some parts were illegal. that said the poem itself is now newsworthy :) so i can post about it without being to scared since im basically just talking about news. pretty much the Streisand effect.
