Alright, did a small amount of cleaning out the fridge while I was waiting for coffee to happen.
Something I've really started to do that is helping is instead of being like "I'm going to clean for X hours" is just, do little bits here and there. Weirdly this actually makes MORE progress, and is far more sustainable.
Like wiping down that counter last night while waiting on take out. Making tidying/cleaning a part of the flow of my day.
@lia_pas I never learned this. When I was a child my parents would write a MASSIVE chore list on Saturdays, assign everyone a fuckton of chores, and then we'd just work all day to do them.
I hated it. And because I never learned another way to do it... cleaning my house as an adult was hard.
Making that massive list for myself for one day a week just hasn't been working.
So I have been trying this "as I go about my day" thing and WOW.
@elfkin I meant to do it before I left but time got away from me. So I wanna do a complete empty and clean of it before groceries get delivered later today.
Start out on the right foot on my return. You know?
