I would like to personally thank the Sun for blasting out four solar flares simultaneously on the same week I explain solar storms and also warn folks about the dangers of them.
@badastro The article says CME's don't emit a ton of visible light, so let's say this theoretically occured during the eclipse, you probably still wouldn't get much of a show as a naked eye observer? I presume no more than a prominence that seems to flicker.
