I've always wanted a CDV715 but never found one that I thought was worth the money. My grandad was a good boy and returned his equipment 😭 but last week I impulse bought one on eBay, new in box for under $50, which I'm pretty happy with. Should get here today, I'm excited.

It does seem silly to buy a detector that, hopefully, I'll never hear detect anything. But it's good for my collection.

@mdwyer yeah, it reads 0-5 R/hr so you're in trouble if the needle starts moving. Amusingly, there is a "High Range" version, the 720, which reads to 500 R/hr in case you run out of range on your 715, haha.

I also have a 700 coming, which is the Geiger Counter, that's the one that everyone knows.
