And for those who say ‘well the climate has always changed - nature compensates’ there is a simple answer. It rarely changes this quickly and there is not enough time for gradual, evolutionary adaptation to occur. Previous enormous, fast changes in the climate have been disastrous for much of life on the planet. Remember - that now includes YOU.

@hanscees @quixoticgeek Honeybees are native - even if cultured bees are a human creation (for more than 2000 years). They are also essential for the survival of many plants. These wasps do predate on all species and are largely parasitic in behaviour. I have to disagree - they are harmful in both the short and longer term.

Swinney definitely managed to hold his own as the other three leaders didn't pull their punches.

Ross came out worse as he resorted to speaking over the candidates after his Tory colleagues took quite the grilling early on ... something which didn't really relent as the show progressed.

Someone who has "anti-fascist" in his profile just boosted a post calling for conservative supreme court justices to be immediately removed and replaced. No impeachment. No due process. Just kick them out.

@FolksVelo Ahh - I could add a Chopper as well, and two tandems and a couple more recumbents but, but here are four machines that have influenced me.

My Windcheetah (here on Arran)
An Airnimal - foldable road bike and designed by a friend of mine
My Cross bike - here near Caithness
My Moulton - lovely little small wheeled bike and good with loads

If Nigel Farage doesn't encourage you to support Scottish independence then you should probably just move down to englandshire to be with the rest of the flegshaggers. You won't be englandshire because the flegshaggers will always be 'engerlish' but there are many more shop doorways to sleep in. Not sure about Buckfast though? 🤔

@JackTheCat @MadeyeTheCarnaptious I have never even tried it - not even as a teenager!!!! Must do some time. I was made aware from an early age of the tale of a group of religious types exploiting ‘loopholes' to make money out of silly kids though. It coloured by judgement of nothing it and religious wiles.

I think in retrospect, my parents got that bit of my upbringing right!
