The freedom to be able to walk and shop in places without worrying about a shooting is something Malaysians take for granted. I cannot imagine living with that kind of possibility in my life. You know what else we take for granted? The fact that Malaysia is free of most natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanoes and such.

Darn I have just completed what I have put off for months - clear the many bags of "stuff" in my home office and finally made it decent 🤣
Also assembled the side cabinet for the study and the rack for the kitchen. Also planted a few Brazilian spinach shoots.

I feel terribly productive today. 💪

@ajlewis2 You can do it! I just put on some really good TV and podcasts while doing them. But admittedly it took me six months to finally do this 🤣 But it will get done eventually.

How feral were Gen X kids?

Well, I taught my younger sister to jump off the second floor of the house to land in the couch below. I mean sure, just an inch off target and there's be a few broken bones. But hey we survived.

The couch didn't.

Ok, so I claim my feral badge, I think I totally earned it.

Gave in and just ordered a standing desk with those fancy buttons where you can raise the thing. And I ordered a LONG table, just like how I like it. I like to scatter all my things when I work lol

@irfan Oh I just got this one but tbh I didn't really research thoroughly. I like that this one has a hook where I can hang my headphones and also a mug holder for my boba tea haha

Squee! Just witnessed the sunbird parents teaching their little chick how to fly. So the three birds were flying here and there in my balcony. Only managed to capture a pic of the chick on the shelf. Isn't it cute and fluffy??

Any fans watched wuxia ‘Heroes’ (2022)? Thoughts?

Viki is streaming it. Noticed it has my crush Liu Yu Ning AND Joseph Zeng in it. Plus Baron Chen as villain.

Director is same as the beautiful Farewell My Princess.

Based on a novel by Woon Swee Oan, the Hong Kong-based Malaysian Chinese poet and writer who also inspired series & film, The Four. The novel is about the nature of heroes.

Looks good but My Drama only gave it 7.9/10!

I hated the idea of at first. I thought it was going to add complexity to my vault. This impression was worsened by the many Youtubers who were showing me their souped up Obsidian systems. Now I'm glad I took the trouble to learn - Dataview can resurface Notes that I've completely forgotten about and automatically list Notes I've made.

I like Dataview now, but I doubt I'll use it beyond ordering my vault from utter chaos to manageable mess. 😆

Finished . Loved it. Would have loved 15 more minutes of the ending and watching people react to the big reveals (hi! the random beggar your family took in is now emperor!), but very good all around. Very cathartic.
