I just got a panicked call from my OH to tell me the mother in law has been rushed into hospital. It seems she had a terrible tumble while getting out of the bath, this morning, hit her head and broke her nose. She’s in her 80s. This is not good on any level. @mph I really appreciate your series of posts on the “JPEG vs RAW” dilemma. On one hand, I like the idea of being able “salvage” or “rework” a photo after the fact. On the other hand, there’s something comforting about the irrevocable nature of a “snapshot” (pardon the pun) that is fixed in time. Very tasty food for thought!

Something that I still can't get my head around on Mastodon... when I click on an account’s "Followers" or "Following" list, I can only see my own profile, maybe a few others if they are on the same instance. Is there any way around this? I feel that it's quite a barrier to finding interesting content 🤔

I'm using Ivory, but I assume it's the same on other clients?
