Ich war auch lange auf der Suche nach einer guten für und die diversen daraus hervorgegangenen Forks.Mit konnte ich mich ebenfalls nie so richtig anfreunden. Inzwischen bin ich aber bei auf die gestoßen.Versuche es doch mal mit ihr.Ich kann für mich sagen,dass diese App das Zeug dazu hat,mit großem Abstand mein Favorit für den Zugriff auf zu werden, und ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wichtig ist zu wissen, dass nach dem ersten Öffnen zunächst nicht nur, wie bei vergleichbaren Apps üblich, das Benutzerkonto mit Aria verknüpft werden muss, sondern auch die gewünschten Timelines (die in der APP "Tabs" heißen) hinzugefügt werden müssen. D.h. diese kommen nicht per Default schon fertig eingerichtet mit.

Eigentlich müsste sie über die F-Droid App zu finden sein, zumal sie auch nicht über ein Extra-Repo angeboten wird. Ansonsten halt über https://f-droid.org/packages/com.poppingmoon.aria/ oder auch https://github.com/poppingmoon/aria. Über letztere Seite steht sogar schon die Version 0.7.0 als APK zum Download bereit, während F-Droid noch bei v0.6.1 steht.

@apps What about the development of towards a support of that was announced a while ago? Or even as an alternative to Firefish?
I would love to use Fedilab again after switching the server to Sharkey a few weeks ago. It was and is still simply the best app I know for the Fediverse. Imho.

Until a few weeks ago, #Fedilab also worked with #Sharkey, but unfortunately not since then. At least not with the federation.network instance where I'm based. I don't know exactly what the problem is — the app, the server, the API... In any case, posts are no longer displayed in the timelines (see screenshot)

Those wanting to try out an alternative to Mastodon, you're welcome to create an account on https://sharkey.world. #Sharkey has a very different layout, but most of the same features as Mastodon, and many features Mastodon hasn't. Just see for yourself, and it's fine to either use it as a second account, or you can decide to migrate your current account to it, if you really like it.
