@nixCraft bwahaha Linus got a game and became preoccupied for months, then the story continued when the game was done. Relatable.

Gives me hope that we're not just idiots wasting our time on fun stuff, because the guy who made Linux did the exact same thing and succeeded.

evergreen

I just had some random thought process and this word stuck: evergreen. Like a beautiful, lasting relationship where love never wavers and never ends, platonic or romantic.

It's the kind I want to stay in. Not an obsession or a love for the idea of a person that burns bright and disappears suddenly. Just. Evergreen.

hoooraaaaaay I have my iGCSE mocks tomorrow and I am so excited because I have THREE exams (English Language, Physics, French Reading) and I love all three yaaaay. Especially Physics - it's my strongest subject and every single question is so freaking easy.

I wish. Sum1 asked if people could cope with...Everything. I said no, we can't. It isn't possible to be able to cope with everything. I have so many diagnoses, that make it harder to be able to cope with anything. I just wish people wouldn't see me as some weird girl with no use in the world. I wanna cope, but idk how

@HisFavBrunie I heard from someone named Dr. Taylor Swift that people can NEVER cope with EVERYTHING.... so the things that hurt you are the ones you should let go and stop caring about, and you should keep all the things you love because they're always much lighter and nicer anyway.

Ngl a really good piece of advice, especially with certain emotional things that happened to me recently regarding relationships.

Idk how much it applies to you, but for me it def helped.

@HisFavBrunie also, just from me: if people think you're of no use in the world, that is THEIR loss for not wanting you in their world. They're losing out on a good human being. And if that's how they think, you don't deserve such bad people to be around you anyway!

@halfy true, but then again apparently this poll has a lot of biases, especially based on which parts of Fedi it's boosted on (ie tech Fedi like Fosstodon leans towards not queer, and there are tons of instances made specifically for queers and such)
