I am sharing the above, because it proves what people here have been saying for a LONG time on numerous related issues, I don't think just taxing the rich is going to work, we need to press for a whole new model and consign the current model to the garbage can of history.
I just spotted a post relating to a question about if we had seciured a company to fly out asylum seekers, to Rwanda. Given the number who are likely to fly out at any one time, there is zero need a for a norma passenger plane. If we assume one will be deported at a time, perhaps the government should consider a 2 seater plane, I think a tiger moth was 2 seater.
A lot of talk about the Israel / Gaza war starting on October 7 2023. While this is the case, the IDF did not go in immediately, there was (I think) a good month after before the invasion started, so all the destruction has taken less than six months, if we take the start date of the invasion as when they went in.
