I was going to make a post on unpopular opinions saying comic sans is not as bad as people make it out to be and can be useful in some cases since it is easier to read. But decided not to because I wasnt sure kbin/lemmy felt about it.

so we already know that youtube doesn’t like people freeloading their bandwidth using something like invidious, piped, newpipe etc. why don’t they just close the public web api and require a login or something. by requiring login they can keep track of what users are watching and if a user is watching thousands of videos...

I live in an area with not so great air quality and no AC. We have little air filters inside the rooms, but at night we have to let the cool (and dirty) air inside to cool down the house....

Or is it just doomed to the vapidity of sterile commercialization?...

Is there anyway to “upscale” old 640-480 games?...

I’ve lived under a rock for 10 years. I did Metro ages ago while most were still on contracts. Surely we’ve reached true capitalist open market freedom by now. Is it still total closed market, noncompetitive, privateering corruption?

I’m in Canada, so options available in Canada are especially appreciated.

When I was about 8/9 years old I was told by a friend of mine I couldn’t play with them any more. Their mother didn’t approve of it for some reason....
