Inspired by the linked XKCD. Using 60% instead of 50% because that’s an easy filter to apply on rottentomatoes.
I’ll go first: I think “Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows” was awesome, from the plot to the characters ,and especially how they used screen-play to highlight how Sherlocks head works in these absurd ways.
I, Robot (56%). Didn’t care for Will Smith in this role but he did well enough. It was more about the plot for me. Also, if your eyes don’t well up when Sonny is about to be terminated you should get checked out.
I watched this yesterday and had several laughs. I understand that it’s not a cinematic masterpiece, but it is actually pretty good, way better than a 40%!
A film about a man living alone and far away from civilization in a wooden hut, digging a mineshaft for years in search of gold. Very atmospheric and doesn’t have any of putting moments in my opinion, despite the rating.
When I wanted to rewatch it 10 years later it was so hard to find that I had to make a post on a movie buff forum with a vague description from memory because I forgot the title.
