@nixCraft No, it is not. Everyone seems to misunderstand the situation: Only tabs you click on are loaded in your session, the others are just placeholder tabs in the UI without actual websites loaded. That’s why several thousand open tabs aren’t a problem at all.

@s4rkn @nixCraft Being critical of tab hoarding and all, bookmarking takes one step more per source, meanwhile tab is just open and forget. Tabs are not great for longer circulation, though :)

@nixCraft should try to use the same profile for 15+ years, no need to keep any tab open to see FF take 20 seconds at full disk load to start. Just google firefox loads slow high disk activity

@nixCraft I know. I hoard tabs in Firefox like crazy. Right now, on this computer, I have 1844 tabs open. 21 of these tabs are open in a throw-away window that will be purged today.
