Just read on BBC News that the new version of ChatGPT can flirt. Who is that for? Who asked for that? Who's interested in being chatted up by an ephemeral cloud of stolen reddit posts? Told by a soulless megazord of pilfered landing pages that it wants to "smash your back doors in 🥵"?

And why is the BBC, of all institutions, letting me know this radically pathetic experience is becoming available?

@heydon OnlyFans providers and others. They use LLMs to scale their "personal" message interactions.

(I'm not opposed to OF at all, porn is a legit business model in my book. But I think it should be required that this is disclosed.)

@heydon Because the BBC have been compromised for years by Roko's Basilisk and speak on it's behalf for the British people.

Or - it's becoming a journalistic cesspit along the lines of The Daily Mail.
