Just found a new-to-me feature. There's an experimental setting that lets you decrease the streaming delay for live broadcasts. So far I haven't noticed any negative side effects. Just thought I'd share.

@TechBean I had noticed that sometime during the football season. I have gigabit fiber and I experienced no issues and it definitely reduced the lag from live. The gold standard is Amazon on TNF their feed was always beating the scoring updates, I have seen similar with Apple mls season pass, everyone else is far behind.

has just rolled out . Watch two or four (currently hardcoded) news channels at the same time, choose one of them to output audio. Interesting. I feel like Adrian Veidt in the final scenes of Watchmen.

Fellow streaming folks watching or any other live . Check if you have an option to Decrease your Broadcast Delay. In my case it cut the live delay in half.
