Someone explain or direct us to a simple diagram how lemmy/kbin/fediverse/magazine work? Where is the info stored, who controls the servers? Don't let lemmy etc devolve into a crypto muddle of power words, which breeds fascism, cliquey-info dictatorships, and eventually gives rise to more hitler-types and WW3.
If search the tech magazine in Mastodon, I get the user ( @tech ) and not the magazine (https://kbin.social/m/tech). Is it probably because they use the same @tech@mastodon.social and so Mastodon can't figure out what should be the correct one to show?
