Found this post super informative as it relates to Mastodon, and thought Lemmy might also benefit from this perspective. I’m not sure I share his optimism, but his points seem sound to dampen some of the alarm bells over Meta joining the Fediverse.
TL;DR: We should bring blogs (self-publishing) back instead of putting all our knowledge into other people's websites....
On the Lemmy specific front, Active daily users seems to still be stabilising following the exodus from elsewhere, Comments and Posts both seem to be on the rise though – promising stats all in all.
