I posted previously about containerizing Squadrick’s clone of Typehere.co. There have been some fixes recently and I finally got around to uploading it to Dockerhub so it is about as easy to run as is physically possible....

Long, short story: CLI animation with some minor annoyances. “Handcrafted” most of em out of the .c file, followed by a bunch of gcc flags. Made it distroless, and this came up. Then my “sharing itch” started after checking the memory usage of the container at a whooping 0 bytes. (I know it must be way more than that,...

For those who enjoys craving a bit of a “nerdy feel” to your daily routine, have at it. Just slap this bad boy on any raspberry pi 4 with a touch screen, and enjoy your pseudo-reality at the cost of “almost nothing”. Steps on how to run it are included in the link @ title as always....

Apparently nobody has ever bothered to improve nextdns in a container, so I took the initiative to do so by making it scratch-based, with nobody as the main user. Docker-compose and Dockerfile are both included in the provided url @ title....

I would love to be able to spin up a container for this cocktail recipe thing I found on Docker Hub....

Has anybody managed to get this to work, using any version of Haxe or any OS? Every one I try has various errors and won’t load. 😅...

Some friends and I are trying to learn Haxe together by working on a simple game. We’re all like pretty much total amateurs at this stuff. For collaborating I set us up a repo for it on Gitlab, and I’ve been trying to run the actual code through Gitpod, but I can’t get it to work… Has anyone else done this successfully?...

Create a directory and assign ownership to nobody – mkdir /dir/ && chown nobody /dir/...

Runs in a loop. Press CTRL+C to exit.

Took me some time to figure this one out, and unfortunately requires a significantly larger image (need so much more of nvidia's toolkit D: couldn't figure out a way to get around it..)...
