xuxebiko, to india in RTI responses reveal the extent of Aadhaar use by the government

Why does the Supreme Court not take cognizance and action against laws that are against its rulings? Is it too tired, or too busy, or too scared, or does it just not give a damn about the insult offered to it by the govt?

Their silence allows laws that are illegal to be passed and made lawful.

The answer is a bit of everything you mentioned

xuxebiko,

You know the Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times"?

xuxebiko,

That too when Indians need them most!

kellipoth, to worldnews in The impending EU AI Act and its potential effect on India’s AI Policy

Tldr: India does the famous "can I copy your homework?" to the EU. Which isn't bad, if the law is good.

taladar,

And even if the law is not perfect, having two large jurisdictions use the same law is certainly better than having two different imperfect laws to deal with if you operate in both.
