@ernest in this case, just like with Lemmy, the test failed.
To understand why, you need to understand how a Friendica group/forum works.
Friendica forums are interpreted correctly as "groups", exactly like Kbin "magazines", Lemmy "communities" or Gup and Chirp "groups" (or like PeerTube channels...).
The problem is that Friendica groups can "reboost" messages only if two conditions are met:
the user must follow the Friendica forum
the user must mention the Friendica forum
However
Unfortunately, Kbin users (but also Lemmy users) do not have a tool for following another "group" user, but can only register. In fact, the "subscription" is not interpreted as a follow!
The mention of a Friendica user by the Kbin user instead works better than what happens in Lemmy (in Lemmy, it practically doesn't work), but this is not enough to reboost the message, because condition n.1 is missing
@SparkIT I think so: I see them on the notifications page; but keep in mind that I'm writing from friendica, and I have deactivated real-time notifications for likes
I tried another one and it works, sorry. When I wrote the 1st one earlier it didn't (maybe lag?) and I thought the boost was the reason why it was reshared.
Yep. You have likely encountered an update ;) Currently, the instance has only one node, so temporary interruptions in broadcasting are possible. Everything is being queued and should be resolved over time.
